Workplace Assured, in partnership with the Australian Business Lawyers & Advisors and CGU insurance, required a new insurance quoting and fulfilment system to help their business development managers provide workplace relationship solution for small to medium businesses in-person.

How we helped

Due to the specialist nature of the insurance provided, the quoting and fulfilment system required a business development manager (BDM) to guide their customer through the process in person. We were able to use this as an opportunity observe, and find ways to enhance and simplify the process.

By using conditional workflows and simple feedback loops, we got potential customers viewable quotes in fewer steps and provided real-time feedback as they progressed through the application.

To ensure the Chambers members encountered a consistent experience throughout we also leveraged the successfully relaunched, NSW Business Chamber's membership registration workflow and responsive templates, that we had recently completed. All this was then optimised for a tablet device as this would be the primary method used during client consultations.

Workplace Assured have since upgraded the quoting and fulfilment system to allow CGU to perform the underwriter's task online, improving the response time for both BDMs and customers alike. Also, the tool has now been successfully rolled out, as a white label version, to four other Business Chambers; Hunter, Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia.
