Meals on Wheels NSW is a charitable organisation who provides home delivery services for people who are mobility challenged or unable to purchase and prepare their own meals. Interesting has provided their expertise to a number of non-profit organisations, helping them establish and develop their online presences. In 2010, media agency Hulsbosch contacted Interesting on behalf of Meals on Wheels NSW to assist in the design and construction of a new website, allowing them to build and support their valuable services.
The new website feature design assets and structure of information which are directly complimentary. The sites allow users to feel confident using and finding information. To allow Meals on Wheels Australia to maintain and create new content for their website, Interesting developed the site on the Kentico platform; a robust and user-friendly Content Management System. The site features information on the Meals on Wheels' Australia services, donation information and contact forms to help people to get involved. A second phase of the project is being carried out to provide secure logins for registered users and to integrate the websites with a Customer Resource Management system.
The initial redesigned website for Meals on Wheels NSW was launched in November 2010.
