Hunter & Central Coast Regional Environmental Management Strategy - CSS, HTML, Javascript, Kentico CMS, ASP.Net 4.0 C#, Flash

Hunter & Central Coast Regional Environmental Management Strategy (HCCREMS) is an innovative of 14 councils in the Hunter, Central and Lower North Coast Region of NSW. Interesting was awarded the government tender to design and develop a new content managed website to highlight and showcase HCCREMS' programs and provide a secure resource library for people working in the field. The library would be shared across many roles in the organisation and as such required multiple levels of security and authorisation to protect important documents.

Interesting worked closely with HCCREMS and design agency partner Mentally Friendly to establish a new design for the organisation that would satisfy their business and functional requirements. Interesting developed the HCCREMS website utilising Kentico CMS, a platform perfectly suited to the very specific security requirements of HCCREMS. At the core of the website is an extensive resource library that spans 12 separate council programs. Each program has its' own role-based security rules which dictate which information can be retrieved by an individual user. The Kentico CMS administration system is simple and intuitive enough to allow HCCREMS staff to manage and update the access rules themselves, to best control their important document repository.

The HCCREMS website was successfully deployed in October 2010. Interesting have been further contracted by HCCREMS to develop a website the Hunter Councils' Urban Water project which will leverage the new HCCREMs document repository.
