With a history of many successful projects together, Interesting was again engaged by media agency Tongue to assist in the development of a Facebook Application for Vodafone Australia. The 'Friends with Benefits' campaign was an online competition run by Vodafone, offering cash prizes to selected entrants each day who 'Like' Vodafone on Facebook and complete an application form.
Interesting applied their expertise in Facebook development to the application, including the creation of a competition entry form. The Friends with Benefits promotion was developed upon the Facebook Platform leveraging the standard Facebook APIs and FBML markup language. The application's use of the 'Like' function facilitated information distribution, allowing users to easily share and promote content on the Vodafone pages.
The Vodafone Friends with Benefits promotion was launched in late 2010 and continued until Australia Day 2011.
