The Real Insurance Call Centre regularly receive a large number of calls regarding simple modifications of existing policies. Customers often need to update their address, contact and payment details. In order to simplify account maintanance for customers and the call centre staff, Real Insurance wished to develop a self-service, secure online form. The form needed to be simple and easy-to-use for customers and to be available from the existing Real Insurance website.
As Real Insurance's web development partner, Interesting carefully analysed, architected and developed a suitable Secure Service Form solution. The application was designed to strictly comply with PCI security standards, including SSL and the required data logging functionality. The information collected from the form is encrypted and stored securely and can be accessed by authorised Real Insurance staff using a secure retrieval system.
The Secure Service Forms for
Real Insurance were completed in April 2010 and have streamlined the policy management system for customers as well as internal staff, reducing the processing time considerably. The new system benefits customers, giving them the option to update their policy information when it is conveninent for them, without requiring additional time-consuming phone calls.
