To celebrate their involvement with the Tour de France 2009, Real Insurance wished to launch a new premium bicycle insurance product. The new product was to utilise the Hollard Insurance owned
Velosure application architecture, integrating completely with the existing backend systems.
Interesting worked with design agency Mentally Friendly to produce the Real Bike Insurance branded quote interface and temporary cover certificates. The application leveraged the existing Velosure quote and administration systems, providing a fast, reliable and familiar solution.
With expert knowledge of the existing systems, Interesting were able to design and implement the new product rapidly and meet the launch deadline. Real Bike insurance was released on schedule, in time for the Tour de France in July 2009.
