In 2009, Interesting was contracted by online shoe heel-tip seller
Heeltips to create an online eCommerce system their products. The site was required to allow customers from around the world to place orders in either Australian or US dollars with shipping to worldwide locations. The applicated needed to be simple and intuitive in design and be integrated with an online standard for handling currency transactions. Heeltips required a content managed solution so that they could keep their product range up-to-date and be able to quickly and easily add testimonials and other relevant information.
Interesting developed a dynamic purchasing system with shopping cart functionality. The site employed the PayPal online payment system allowing users to complete their transactions with a familar and trusted service provider. To simplify and streamline the ordering process for repeat customers, Interesting also customised the Kenctio user account registration and login functionality. The site was built with the Kentico CMS system allowing the staff at Heeltips to update and manage their catalogue on demand.
The Heeltips website was initially launched in April 2009. In June 2010 Interesting updated the Heeltips website to Kentico CMS 5.0.
