Velosure

Velosure offers bicycle insurance cover for crashing, racing and theft quickly and efficiently, started by Theo Grobler, a cycling enthusiast, and The Hollard Insurance Company.

Interesting was approached in early 2008 as web services partner for the implementation of a comprehensive e-commerce website for Velosure and worked with the founding team on an initial set of requirements.

In addition, Interesting worked closely with Mentally Friendly, who developed Velosure's branding and design, on usability considerations for the website.

After finalizing the design Interesting implemented Velosure's first website version within 8 weeks and the site went live in August 2008.

Since then Velosure and Interesting have continued their joint work and Interesting has implemented numerous additional features.

Some of Velosure's highlights:

• A full quoting engine that calculates Velosure's prices.
• Automatic emailing of temporary certificates providing customers with instant cover.
• A full fledged, web-based, admin interface enabling Velosure staff to approve quotes that require underwriting approval.
• Post approval automation. Clients are notified via email, and may continue their purchase online.
• Tracking and reporting of business referred from registered Velosure partners.
