Nascar Lap by Lap

Interesting were approached by digital video provider Vision Bytes to assist in the development of an interactive video playback application. The site would feature streaming media, allowing visitors to the Nascar website to view the 2009 series races on demand.

Interesting worked closely with Vision Bytes to develop the rich media website, Nascar Lap by Lap. Information for the site was provided via feeds from Nascar including flags, highlights, lead changes, drivers, as well as descriptions. The application was integrated with Nascar’s ad serving system. Interesting proposed and implemented an advanced, custom Google Analytics tracking system to capture user interaction with the flash video playback system.

The Nascar Lap by Lap application was released to the public in June 2009 and has provided Nascar with a valuable information delivery tool.
