GreeningRedlands is a fundraising promotion site for three development projects at Redlands school, the projects are designed to improve the children's school environment. WaldenWood Group, Redlands design and marketing agency, brought Interesting in to build their vision of a virtual real estate site.
Interesting implemented an easy to use site with two aerial photographs of Redland's campuses that are divided into grids of virtual blocks. Visitors may donate to the project by 'purchasing' one or multiple blocks and are able to leave a personal message.

Real Insurance (a trading name of The Hollard Insurance Company) is a direct insurance brand offering Motor, Home and Contents and Life insurance products Australia-wide. In order to improve the user experience on www.realinsurance.com.au Real Insurance approached Interesting to implement a creative design for the website.
Interesting provided Real Insurance with a customisable site that uses .NET master pages to implement the site design and layout. Major site elements such as navigation and user logins were developed as .NET User Controls to allow Real Insurance to easily reuse them in their private site.

Southern Star, Australia's largest independent television production and distribution group, currently use a touch screen application to assist their sales staff at conferences. Southern Star required the functionality and design of the application to be streamlined and brought into line with their corporate branding.
After reviewing the system Interesting recommended that the touch screen application be redeveloped using Microsoft’s new Windows Presentation Framework (WPF), which enabled the application to natively handle the video format’s used by Southern Star and to integrate with their other conference resources such as Microsoft PowerPoint.

An information portal was needed for the newly redesigned NRL site, redeveloped by a partnership between The Farm and C4 Communication. The portal needed to display a high quantity of information, updating as live scores and statistics were passed through to the NRL servers in a limited area on the website.
To enable this Interesting, were tasked to create two flash consoles. The first console displays a summary of information about each match as well as providing access to photos and videos for the match. The second console provides multimedia information about the match as well as access to larger action photos. Both consoles retrieve their information from XML feeds provided by the NRL system.

Following the success of the NRL console in 2006, C4 was contracted by Bigpond Sports to provide live online match coverage of the 2006/2007 Ashes series and the 2007 cricket world cup.

The first of these was a full scorecard, featured below, which includes the Bigpond Sports video coverage of the series, a real time scorecard and a schedule of upcoming games. The third was an island banner that could be used on other sites to push people to the scorecard.

The independent UK record company Dubplate needed to upgrade their business model to enable them to sell merchandise, vinyls, CD’s and DVD’s online. Dubplate also decided to move into the market of track mp3 sales and downloadable ring tones.
Interesting was contracted to evaluate Dubplate’s current system, to determine if it could be upgraded to incorporate the new requirements and functionality. After completing the evaluation it was determined that the existing system was not capable of meeting the requirements. Dubplate then contracted Interesting to develop a new system that was capable of handling Dubplate’s business needs.
The system meets all of Dubplate’s current requirements while remaining flexible, allowing for future changes to Dubplate’s business needs. The site went live in August 2006 and can be found at http://www.dubplate.net

Phonelink is a telecommunications company who were looking to raise their online presence to help increase their market base and assist in their current expansion plans. Phone-link was looking for a crisp clean site that was easy to use and tied in with their corporate branding.

Interesting partnered with Picture to provide BBC’s partner Leafstorm, with a dynamic site that integrated with the BBC's infrastructure. The site was required to evolve during each of the six episodes to reflect the country’s ongoing development. Included in the functionality of the site was a community message board and an online voting system.

The Bottom Line Report is an innovative commentary that outlines and catalogues new business initiatives, technologies and work practices from around the world. Boral’s Business Support Services (BSS) provide Boral with an excellent development resource. Due to the large number of ongoing projects Boral’s BSS needed to source external development for the Online Price Validation Tool.

Interesting worked within the existing Boral BSS infrastructure and liaised with BSS technical leads and the client to ensure that the project was completed smoothly.

The UK company Match Day Media had a concept to place plasma screens in all English premiership and championship football stadiums. These screens would be used as an advertising platform and also display up-to-date results for the current match and the rest of the premiership league.
UK I.T company Splendid created the creative basis of the system and then contracted Interesting to develop the IT infrastructure and system that would allow XML feeds from the Press Association to be monitored, parsed and supplied to all of the stadiums.
The system was successfully developed and is currently running in fifteen premiership and championship football stadiums in the UK.

Punter V Punter was designed to be easy for the average punter to use. It enabled them to simply select the sport or event that they wanted to bet on and present them with the selection of odds on offer. The punter could also enter their own odds which could then be taken by other users. Punter V Punter allowed for all types of bet outcomes and result variations, such as dead heats, no results and the always annoying Rule 4. Punter V Punter was developed using ASP, Visual Basic and SQL server and kept a detailed account summary for each user including current and historic betting information.
